This bathroom, titled "L’espace Tranquille," was inspired by the historical hotel bathrooms throughout Paris such as the Ritz Carlton and the Hotel Le Meurice. It is soulful but designed with the modern era in mind. We mixed a patterned hardwood floor with a dramatic and architecturally detailed marble wall for interest, and then layered in beautiful textiles with the trimmed window treatments and bullion fringe pouf to maintain the elegance. You have to squeeze a lot of architectural details out of a smaller space to make it impactful and the final result was beautiful, stylish and very "JRI".
