We drew inspiration from natural elements—earth, wind, fire, and water—to transform the powder room at the 2015 San Francisco Decorator Showcase. Jim Thompson’s “Tibetan Sun” silk fabric was chosen as the room’s central feature, allowing its bold palette to guide our overall design. The 24-karat gold and onyx mosaic glass tile and gold leafed metal niche were selected to reflect the wallcovering’s color and honeycomb pattern. To create a sense of timeless glamour in the intimate space, we incorporated a calacatta gold marble vanity by Sherle Wagner.
