Located in the flats of Kentfield with full views of Mount Tam, this property includes a main house plus a separate cottage that is original to the house which was built in 1907. Remodeled in 2010, the homeowners brought in JRI to furnish the dining, living room and entryway, followed by a full renovation of the cottage to turn it into a pool house in order to accommodate guests. The clients wanted an East Coast vibe that was tailored for an indoor outdoor California aesthetic. The schemes throughout the home were rooted in the classic palette of blue and white, and then incorporated hints of red and lots of print and pattern. We were thrilled to be able to incorporate their existing antique furnishings and to have such wonderful and trusting clients.
