Pool Party

This historic home, originally built in 1907, included a detached former carriage house, which we converted into a pool house for this family of 5. It includes sweeping views of coveted Mount Tamalpais and is on a sunny, flat lot. It was a multi-use space, a place where kids with wet bathing suits could hang out, but also a place where guests could visit and stay for a long weekend.  All items were selected with heavy use in mind, no stress, durability, and ease of cleaning and maintenance. The upstairs sleeping quarters include cozy grasscloth, custom draperies, and a hotel-like bathroom.
