Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea. Julie Rootes Interiors premiers glamorous powder room inspired by natural elements at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase. Designer Julie Rootes of Julie Rootes Interiors reveals an elegant powder room design inspired by four elements- earth, wind, fire and water. Rootes centers her design around Jim Thompson's iconic 'Tibetan Sun' silk fabric. Luxurious design materials ideally match the wallcovering's sumptuous feel. Everything looks somewhat calm and elegant. The interior is full of fresh, vibrant prints and custom details. I love the way she mixes modern and traditional elements.

The interior features warm chocolate brown color palette, the 'Tibetan Sun' wallcovering sets the stage for the room's overall design. The Sherlie Wagner calacatta gold marble vanity and blush petal-inspired Coleen & Company chandelier give this room a feminine, classic touch. All in all, this decadent powder room is truly timeless.

The gold accents, like the 24-karat gold and onyx mosaic glass tile from All Natural Stone and Bella Iron Works gold leafed metal niche, compliment the wallpaper.
