2015 Napa Showhouse
This dining room honors the history of the house while giving the room a fresh, unexpected twist. It was important that it have an unexpected mix of old and new items with artistic elements layered throughout. Soft curves are juxtaposed with the space’s existing linear wood paneling bringing depth and interest to the room. The palette is focused around rich greens, burgundies, crisp ivories and pops of electric blue and features painted fabric from New Orleans artist, Amanda Stone Talley. The wine cabinet was original to the house and since we couldn’t alter it, we turned it into a focal point by incorporating hardware topped corks onto the wine bottles.
